Functional strength training at a gentle pace
We go into a room. Set out all manner of equipment, such as weights bars, kettlebells, gym bands and free weights. Turn on some nice music. Then it’s time for a circuit!
Soft training allows you to build up sustained strength for the whole body. This session is especially good for you if you are unaccustomed to strength training and if you want constructive exercise. Here there is plenty of time for each exercise, which allows you to feel your way into it and to get to grips with the techniques.
Cirkelfys soft is comprised of stations featuring different equipment and utilises your own body weight. The exercises train your body for what it is made for, such as being able to stretch, bend, pull, push and rotate. Here much of your body is receiving a workout in each exercise.
The session begins with a run-through of the equipment, where the class leader takes you through all the different exercises. After the warm-up, it’s time for three circuits. The group, the music and the leader combine to give you encouragement throughout the session. You exercise at your own pace and don’t need to think about the pace of the music. Focused and with strength for the whole body.
