PT

Are you looking for motivation or a new challenge?

Our personal trainers meet you at your own level, regardless of whether you are a new beginner or an old hand, are a junior trainer or a senior, if you’re ring rusty or have pushed yourself too hard.
A Friskis PT helps you achieve your goals in an effective and inspiring way. If you don’t have any particular goals, you can come up with one together! You are also together when you perform the workout. Then it’s up to you to determine the experience you want: motivation or support, tough or gentle. Your Personal Trainer gives you that little bit extra to help you get started or to progress.

A Friskis PT looks at the whole picture: you get a structured workout tailored to your body and your mind. With varied training and just the right amount of recovery, you will achieve your own goals.

How it works

At your first meeting with your PT, you will discuss what you want from your training, your exercise background and your present situation. You perform some tests so that your PT is able to organise your training according to your individual strengths and development areas. Together, you design a plan and decide how often you will meet. All Friskis&Svettis Personal Trainers respect the confidentiality of all your information.

Difference between a PT and the trainers in the gym

Personal Trainers design tailor-made training, conduct tests, draw up a plan and monitor your training over a period of time. They can also be with you during your workout, to provide motivation and to develop your techniques – all to enable you to get the maximum benefit from your training. The trainers in the gym are on hand to occasionally help you with your training and are adept at helping ensure varied training, providing inspiration and instructing and guiding you in the short term.

The training and skills of our PTs

All of our Personal Trainers have completed the Friskis training courses from the basic level to the advanced course for Personal Trainers and they have extensive experience of leading and inspiring people in their workouts. They are qualified in many different types of training, testing methodology, long-term training planning and recovery. They are just as firmly rooted in health and sport as they are in the Friskis values. Our PTs have a genuine passion for people and training enthusiasm!
