Rowing is a great way to work on your fitness. Your legs work with power and your upper body is involved in every move. Together, this makes for a powerful yet nevertheless gentle all-round exercise. You can really push yourself or choose to maintain a steady pace. It’s up to you to choose the resistance settings on your own rowing machine.
At Rodd, the group usually follows the pace and rhythm set by the leader. This contributes to this session’s somewhat evocative experience of being caught up in a flow. Sometimes there’ll be music providing background inspiration. The session leader and the others in the group cheer you on, enabling you to make it to the finishing line.
Trying for the first time? Just turn up! It’s a good idea to come a little early so that you can make the necessary adjustments to the settings on your rowing machine.
