To exercise with us you need to be a member of the sports association Friskis&Svettis Borlänge. The membership fee is paid separately every calender year in line with the tariff applicable at that time. Your membership is personal and is not transferable. You need a membership to buy a training card.
Personal training card
Your training card is also personal. This applies at Friskis&Svettis Borlänges gym, classes and facilities and for all outdoor sessions. Special age limits may apply, read more here about our age limits.
Allowing someone else to use your training card is not permitted and can lead to suspension.
Transfer training card
Your training card can be transferred to another member. However, this does not include training cards that´s been payed for you by an employer. If you want to transfere your card please contact our reception manager by email

Your right of withdrawal
We do not repurchase training cards or membership fees.
Lost or stolen gym pass
If you lose your training card you can come by to our reception and we will help you replace it for an administration fee (50 kr). Come to our reception and we will happily help you.
Freeze training cards
In some situations, you have to take a break from exercising because of injury, illness or problems during pregnancy. You can therefore pause your active 12 month-, 4 month card or 10-card and thus extend the validity period. Certificates from a doctor, physiotherapist or midwife are then required. Cards can be paused for a maximum of 12 months from the date stated on the certificate.

Register your training card at reception
Always have your training card with you to the gym. To enter the gym or check in to a class you need to register yourself by holding your pass against one of the card readers at the facility.
Schedule changes and reduced opening hours
Schedule changes occur throughout the year. During major holidays and the summer, our opening hours are slightly reduced. Sometimes we also need to temporarily close facilities for maintenance and renovations. We will not replace training for these reasons. Nor is Friskis&Svettis Borlänge responsible for obstacles or restrictions to exercise opportunities due to circumstances beyond our control.
Exercise under your own responsibility
All exercise is at your own risk and under your own responsibility. This also applies to the storage of personal belongings during training.
You are insured!
When you exercise with us or attend our premises you are
covered by accident insurance by Svedea. The insurance also covers travel to and from the gym facility.
Your personal data are in safe hands
At Friskis&Svettis Borlänge we process your personal data to best provide you with the services we offer. In our role as personal data controller we ensure that the applicable legislation on protection of your personal data is always complied with when we process your personal data within our organisation. You are welcome to photograph yourself, but not others
You are welcome to photograph yourself and your own exercise at our facilities. However, you are not allowed to photograph other members without their permission. Photography is entirely forbidden in the changing rooms.
Doping checks
Doping checks are carried out at all of our gym facilities. We apply the Swedish Sports Federation’s association rules and doping policy.
Reasons for suspension
Friskis&Svettis Borlänge aims to provide a welcoming, accepting and pleasant exercise environment. Inappropriate conduct such as aggressive behaviour, threats towards other members, officials and staff, theft and doping can lead to suspension. The organisation has a zero-tolerance approach to alcohol and drugs.
